Windows is amazing
Apparently the problem I'm having could be because .NET 2.0 is in a broken state. To fix it, go to the Add/Remove Programs control panel, locate the item named Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 and choose to repair it. I have no "repair" option. I have a "Change" option, but when I click on it a progress bar grinds for a while and then nothing happens. Is that broken? I dunno. So I decided to remove it and reinstall it.
Error 1334. The file blah blah blah cannot be installed because it is not found in cabinet file BLAH BLAH BLAH.NDP.
UNINSTALL. UNINSTALL. Not INSTALL, UNINSTALL. You know what else would be great? If I could have cut and pasted that error message.
